What is Imago Dialogue
Imago Dialogue is a form of couples therapy developed by Harville Hendrix and his wife Helen LaKelly Hunt. The therapy is based on the premise that individuals are attracted to partners who will trigger unconscious aspects of their childhood wounds, and that by understanding and healing those wounds, couples can create a deep and meaningful connection.
Imago Dialogue Relationship tools helps couples to identify their core needs and triggers, and to communicate them to their partner in a non-confrontational and safe way. Through guided exercises and communication techniques, couples are able to deepen their emotional intimacy and learn the skills necessary to sustain a long-term, fulfilling relationship.
The therapy has been shown to be effective in helping couples improve their communication, increase their understanding both self and their partners and build a deeper sense of connection and intimacy.
